Dr. Dean Ho is a distinguished biomedical engineer and academic leader at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He holds the position of Provost’s Chair Professor and serves as the Head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering within the College of Design and Engineering. Dr. Ho is also the Director of the N.1 Institute for Health and the Institute for Digital Medicine (WisDM), both of which are clinical-stage research institutes at NUS.
His pioneering work in artificial intelligence (AI)-driven personalized medicine has led to the development of platforms such as CURATE.AI, which enables individualized treatment plans, and IDentif.AI, aimed at optimizing combination therapies for infectious diseases. Additionally, his team introduced WisDM Green, a technology platform designed to enhance food security and optimize agricultural yields while preserving nutritional content.
